The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to award, on a sole source basis, a purchase order to The University of Cincinnati?s College of Medicine, Division of Immunolgy, Allergy Diagnostic Laboratory, Cincinnati, OH 670563. The authority for this sole source procurement is FAR 6.302-1. The University of Cincinnati?s College of Medicine, Division of Immunolgy, Allergy Diagnostic Laboratory contractor developed and conductes the serum analysis for toluene diisocyanate antibodies. This is the only laboratory that condcuts this test using the IgG/IgE antibody to diisocyanate antigens modified for use of Avidinbiotin-complex (ABC) technology. This is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. Firms that believe they can provide the services are encouraged to identify themselves and give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 10 days of the publication date of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
