AMENDMENT NO. 1: Time for the receipt of proposals has been extended to June 25, 2010 no later than 4:00pm. Project consists of machine piling downed residual slash and live or dead brush on an estimated 630 acres on the McCloud Ranger District, Shasta-McCloud Management Unit, Shasta-Trinity National Forest, Siskiyou County, California. It is anticipated that two separate awards will be made from this solicitation. The solicitation will be available for viewing from this website on or about April 26, 2010. Estimated start work date is approximately June 1, 2010 with a defined performance period to be included in the solicitation. The solicitation will follow FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items procedures. Responding to the solicitation will require both a response to price and a response to evaluation criteria. No formal site visit is planned on this project.
