Following the expiration of federal pandemic unemployment benefits, NYSDOL and the DEWS team are working aggressively to help more than two million unemployed and under-employed New Yorkers get back to work, to get the economy back on track, keep businesses operating, and connect open jobs to jobseekers who are now ineligible for benefits through the Back to Work Campaign. OBJECTIVES: Help get unemployed and under employed New Yorkers get back to work and fill openings around the state. Inform job seekers and job resisters about the no-cost services NYS DOL offers to help them get back to work. Reduce number of New Yorkers collecting unemployment benefits. Show that NYS DOL and the current administration are working to connect job seekers with jobs. AUDIENCES: Primary: Job seekers – Unemployed New Yorkers who are currently looking for work or underemployed New Yorkers who are currently looking for work.? Job resisters – Unemployed New Yorkers who are resistant or hesitant to get back to work.? Businesses – Employers and business owners looking to fill openings around the state.? TARGETED LOCATIONS: New York City and Long Island. MESSAGING PLATFORMS: New York City subway and bus ads. NYSDOL will utilize Outfront Media Group for its exclusive right to post and display advertisement in the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) systems.
