455 ECES requires bi-directional and uni-directional, Lights Emitting Diode (LED) runway threshold/runway end lights to replace failing existing lighting. The current fixtures are a mix of semi-flush and elevated. The semi-flushed must fit existing base recepticles of 12" in diameter. Additionally, the projection is 6.35mm (1/4") with a mixture of toe-in right and toe-in left configuration. Elevated fixtures are a 12" height. All interested vendors must provide evidence that they are getting the product from an authorized source.
