Contractor will need to place a bid/per day for 124 days of bat mist netting on 5 ranger districts on the Ozark-St. Francis National Forest in Arkansas. (Boston Mountain, Sylamore, Pleasant Hill, Magazine and Big Piney Ranger Districts). Contractor must furnish all equipment, transportation and supplies. Housing/camping will be available. Contractor must be available to work May 1, 2008 for site locating and be available to begin Indiana bat compliance netting by May 15, 2008 and complete all compliance netting by August 15, 2008. Non-compliance netting must be completed by September 20, 2008 and all reports, photos, etc. must be furnished to the contracting officer representative (COR) by September 20, 2008. Contractor must have a current Federal Fish and Wildlife Permit for bat netting/take permit for the Indiana, Gray and Ozark-big eared bats for the Ozark-St. Francis National Forest and an Arkansas Scientific Collecting Permit. Copies of these permits must be supplied with submission of bid.
