FA8629-09-C-2433. Battlefield Airman Management System. This is a presolicitation synopsis. The Aeronautical Systems Center (ASC), 823rd Aeronautical Systems Group, 670th Aeronautical Systems Squadron (Battlefield Airmen) intends to award a contract on a sole source basis to SRA International Inc. to enhance the existing Battlefield Airman Management System. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Specific objectives of this task include: architecture, design, and development of website system enhancements; program planning; project support; product integration and delivery; and product/process assessment analysis. Emphasis will be placed on effective and efficient data, information and knowledge management technologies, as well as human factor considerations. The government intends to award the effort pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, since SRA International Inc. is the only firm that possesses the necessary knowledge, experience and technical data required to support the system. The proposed contract action has a base period of performance of twelve (12) months and options for four (4) years.
