Scope: The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, test equipment, transportation, regularly scheduled preventive maintenance parts, and other items and services necessary to perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and repair (on-site) for equipment items listed in attachment 1. This contract will include the manufacturer's recommended preventive maintenance parts and labor coverage for the cataract extraction system.

This notice is not a request for competitive quotes and no solicitation is available. The circumstances of this contract action deem only a single source is reasonably available to fulfill the stated requirement. Interested organizations, who believe they can meet the requirement, may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the requirement in writing to [email protected] no later than 2:00pm, AKSD, Tuesday, 23 August 2018. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Oral communications will not be accepted in response to this notice. No request for proposals or quotes will be issued based upon this Notice of Intent.
