The City of Pasadena Department of Public Works, Parks & Natural Resources, seeks to place a vendor under a purchase order contract to provide live bee removal and relocation services and elimination of wasp and stinging insect removal services. PRICING Must be valid from July 2019 to June 2020. SCOPE Remove swarms and hives of live bees, wasps, hornets and other stinging insect from various public locations including but not limited to utility meter boxes, trees, facilities, fences and power poles. RESPONSE TIME Contractor must respond to service calls within 24 business hours or within 4 hours if emergency services are requested. GUARANTEE All services must be guaranteed and no charges for return services within 30 days. DURATION OF CONTRACT It is Public Work's intent to award a one-year contract that begins upon execution of a purchase order and ends June 30, 2020. INVOICING Selected Contractor must invoice separately for each service call and submit electronically. Vendors must upload invoices electronically to the Cityâs website at https://invoice.cityofpasadena.net/, and submit invoices no later than 7 days after the required delivery or completion date. Invoice must clearly specify the purchase order number, detailed description of goods and/or services as applicable (i.e. unit price, quantities billed, extended totals, service date, service location, hourly rate, hours billed), and any applicable taxes. INSURANCE Contractor must comply with the City of Pasadenaâs insurance requirements (see attachment A) SAFETY All work shall comply with all applicable state and federal safety and health requirements. Where there is conflict between applicable regulations, the most stringent will apply. Contractor will assume full responsibility and liability for compliance with all applicable regulations pertaining to the health and safety of the public during the execution of the work. COMPLIANCE WITH ORDINANCES The Contractor in the performance of services under this agreement must at all times comply with all statutes, ordinances, regulation pertaining to materials used, extent, and methods of application. LICENSE REQUIREMENT(S): Contractor must have valid licenses with the Structural Pest Control Board (http://www.pestboard.ca.gov/) and the California Department of Food and Agriculture (http://www.cdfa.ca.gov/); and also be registered with the Environmental Protection Agency (http://www.epa.gov/) and the Department of Industrial Relations (http://www.dir.ca.gov/). Every representative of the Contractor who will be performing on-site services under this contract must have a state license. Each service visit shall include a signed report defining the services performed, area(s) treated, chemicals used, and all information required by the California Department of Pesticides Regulation (http://www.adpr.ca.gov/).
