This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number BEP-RFQ-14-0432 is hereby issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) to procure the ammunition listed below.

The FAR Clauses and Additional Provisions, Clauses, and Terms and Conditions applicable to this solicitation and any resultant contract or contracts are in accordance with Attachment 1 - Logistics, FAR Clauses and Additional Provisions, Clauses, and Terms and Conditions. This RFQ document incorporates the provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-72 effective January 31, 2014.

This is a 100% Small Business set-aside. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 332992, Ammunition Manufacturing and the Small Business Size Standard is no more than 1,000 employees. The award is for a firm-fixed price Purchase Order. Multiple awards will be considered to best meet BEP requirements.

REQUIREMENT: The following Items will meet BEP's immediate ammo requirements for both the Eastern (ECF) and Western (WCF) Currency facilities. Addresses are listed below.

Item 1: Quantity: 34 cases/ 1000 rounds per case
Description: .45 lead free frangible-copper matrix
Total: 34000 rounds

Item 2: Quantity: 5 cases /1000 rounds per case

Total: 1250 rounds

Item 5: Quantity: 100 or 250 rounds per case
Description: shotgun duty slug. Full recoil is preferred, but low recoil will be considered

PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The delivery will be complete no later than 180 days ARO. Partial shipments will be considered.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR QUOTE SUBMISSION:
Quotes shall be submitted by email to Contract Specialist, Donald Baron at [email protected] and are due no later than 3:00 pm EST on March 31, 2014.

QUOTATION CONTENT
Vendors are cautioned to review the RFQ and ensure that the quotation submitted fully complies with any or all requirements of the RFQ. Vendor shall submit pricing for all items and include packing information, brand confirmation and delivery.

SUBMISSION OF QUOTE

Each quotation shall written on corporate letterhead and include the following:
1. An exact-match product number and description;
2. The total price amount, including shipping costs; and
3. The unit/box price.
4. Delivery schedule.

BASIS OF AWARD
Multiple awards will be considered to best meet BEP requirements. The government intends to award a firm, fixed price purchase order or multiple orders based on the lowest evaluated price quote with an exact match to the listed Ammunition. Proposed alternate ammunition will not be accepted. Quotes will be evaluated for acceptability on price and delivery pass/fail basis. Award may also be made on the basis of quotes without discussions. Vendors are therefore cautioned that each quote should contain the Vendor's best terms. The right to conduct discussions, if necessary, is reserved.

No questions or inquiries will be accepted by telephone. The distribution of any resulting amendments to the solicitation will be accomplished solely through the FBO.gov.
