Military Sealift Command (MSC) Ship Support San Diego intends to award a contract on a sole source basis for Ship Service Diesel Generators (SSDG) parts for T-AO Class Vessel to Rolls Royce Marine North America of Houston, TX. The proposed contract action for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate is provided under the authority 10 USC 2304(c) (1), only one source. The Government intends to procure this sole source requirement under Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR part 13 and Commercial procedures in FAR part 12.
This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and solicitation will not be issued. Interested parties must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the government and email direct to MSC Point of Contact Mary Ablola, [email protected]. If no affirmative written responses are received by 1000 Hours PST on 20 May 2016 expressing interests and outlining their capabilities and qualifications, an award will be made without further notice. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the government.
