The purpose of this survey is to gather market information and refine the current DRAFT Statement of Work (SOW). Responses to this notice are not offers and will not be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. With this RFI we request information regarding your company and your products/services. The same information will be gathered from different companies and will be used to evaluate which suppliers we will follow up the sourcing process with a Request For Proposal (RFP) or Request For Quotation (RFQ). Responses to this RFI will not be posted for public viewing.

DLA-Strategic Materials (formerly known as the Defense National Stockpile Center or DNSC) is upgrading the existing National Defense Stockpile (NDS) inventory of Beryllium to create a sequestered material volume which will meet current technological requirements for structural, instrument and optical applications. The intent of this program is to ensure Beryllium metal requirements for critical US government and civilian sectors are satisfied in accordance with the Strategic and Critical Materials Stockpiling Act (50 U.S.C. section 98 et seq.).
