The Anschutz 1827 is a straight-pull bolt action rifle. The rifle utilizes the "Fortner" straight-pull action. This action utilizes 7 hardened steel balls to securely lock the action for firing. The rifle includes a two-stage trigger and sliding safety catch on the left side of the rifle. The rifle is capable of accepting detachable magazines. The action is equipped with mounting points for a separately-available rear sight. The barrel is nitrided steel. The barrel is equipped with a front sight with snow cover. The trigger weight is approximately 550g and has an adjustable pull range of 90mm to 650mm. The stock is fabricated from walnut wood and includes provisions for storing 4 extra magazines and harness mounting. The stock is also able to be adjusted for cheek and forend height as well as length-of-pull. The cheek and length of pull adjustments are carried out via thumbscrew. The forend height is adjusted via addition or removal of wooden raiser blocks.

If you offer an equivalent system, please provide evidence of the characteristics stated above in order to demonstrate equivalency.
A detailed description of your capability to deliver firearms, magazines, and spare parts for the above listed system. Details should include technical descriptions of the firearms and magazines as well as lists of spare parts. Any pricing data should be sent, if available, at NO COST to the US Government. Describe your delivery lead time for quantities up to 50 systems.
A detailed description of your ability to comply with Item Unique Identification (IUID) machine-readable information (MRI) requirements as described in MIL-STD-130, Identification Marking of U.S. Military Property and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) clause 252.211-7003. Provide any available data related to testing performed to ensure compliance with MIL-STD-130 specifically as it relates to permanency and legibility. Direct identification marking of the serialized receiver (e.g. by laser) capable of withstanding the intended life cycle should be addressed. If another method is described, that description should include an explanation of the method's relative merits and why it is the equivalent or superior.
