Demo two non-load bearing 10’ x 32’ partition walls including partial removal of T-grid to make room for new wall construction (wall between A210 & A212 and wall between A212 & A213). Remove and replace all ceiling tiles in four classrooms (A208, A210, A212, and A213) New tiles must exceed and NRC rating of 0.70 or greater. Build two walls from floor to the hard deck approximately 14’x32’ each using metal studs including insulation (Rockwool Safe’n’Sound Stone Wool Insulation) and drywall (5/8”). New walls will need to have pass through penetrations for electrical cabling and HVAC ductwork running between rooms. Penetration gaps will need to be sealed using fire caulking. Texture (light orange peel), prime and paint new walls. Include new rubber baseboard to match surrounding size and color. (Paint below ceiling grid only is acceptable). Paint color to be used is Dunn Edwards Whisper Gray Semi-Gloss. Reinstall T-grid and include wall angle installation if needed. Wall between A208 and 210 will need visible gaps fire caulked. Include insulation blanket above the ceiling on both sides of the wall starting from the wall out 3-4 feet. Lay insulation blanket(Rockwool Safe’n’Sound Stone Wool Insulation) 3-4 feet from wall out across the length of the wall on both sides of each classroom (all three walls).
