This is an attempt to sole source to Government Scientific for the continuation of a monthly reagent rental and maintenance agreement the government entered into in FY 2005, which provides a BIO-RAD Evolis analyzer for automated HIV, Syphilis and H. pylori testing. The rental/maintenance agreement includes the cost for the analyzer, disposables, consumables, quality control materials, calibration materials, service, HIV Western Blot confirmatory testing kits and instrument/reagent freight for several federal correctional institutions.  This notice is not a soliciation or request for offers.  A determination not to compete is soley with the discretion of the Government.  Any person of this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government.  Response must be received no later than September 24, 2008 at 12:00 pm eastern standard time.  Response can be emailed to the Contracting Officer at [email protected].
