The U.S. Geological Survey intends to make a non-competitive award to UMBC Chemistry Department in Baltimore, MD for analytical services to be delivered to Water Sciences Center in Catonsville, MD by 09/30/2010. Option Years: 10/01/2010 to 09/30/2011 and 10/01/2011 to 09/30/2011 UMBC Chemistry Department is the only known source for this requirement because required items are not available in marketplace based on pilot test and the Government's needs could not be met from another vendeor without extensive modifications that would not be cost effienct to the Government.
