Solicitation 17-239-SOL-00014

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The current solicitation number is 17-239-SOL-00014 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This acquisition is being conducted under Simplified Acquisitions Procedures in accordance with FAR part 13. The clauses and provisions referenced in this solicitation may be obtained in full text form at http://www.arnet.gov/far.
The Department of Health and Human Services/Indian Health Service has a requirement for a vendor to provide scheduled pick-up of waste every other week. Provide the equipment (i.e. red bags, storage containers) Provide transportation and disposal of a maximum of 320 (44 gallon) containers per year (approximately 10,00 poubds) Provide weight reports of waste picked up on request. Comply with all state and federal regulations related to the transportation and disposal of waste. Please see attachment for additional information. We are wanting to do a base plus four (4) option years Firm Fixed Price contract. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-66. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 562211with a small business size standard of $27.50.

This requirement is a 100% Total Small Business set-aside and only qualified offerors may submit bid.
