The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is contemplating issuance of a sole source contract in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 541711. The CDC intends to issue a sole source contract to Phase Genomics, Inc., 4000 Mason Road, Suite 225, Seattle, WA 98195-2141 for Hi-C cross-linking, sequencing library preparation, sequencing, and bioinformatics technology to deconvolute the metagenomics and the sequences of individual genomes on metagenomics stool samples.

This notice of intent and is not a request for competitive proposals or quotations. No solicitation is available. All other interested sources may provide descriptive literature and any other supporting information to the CDC for consideration.
