Opportunity Summary SOLE SOURCE NOTICE This is not a solicitation; it is a notice of a sole source procurement, pursuant to ORS 279B.075 (2) (d) and OAR 125-247-0275. The Klamath Watershed District and the Klamath Anadromous Reintroduction Program are working towards dam removals on the Klamath River that will occur as soon as 2023. As this restoration will remove 4 major dams on the Klamath River and allow anadromous fishes to access over 400 miles of habitat in the Upper Klamath Basin for the first time in over 100 years, it is imperative that we establish a rigorous monitoring and evaluation program in order to achieve even our most basic goals and objectives. Biomark is the only company that can provide the goods described herein, which will be compatible with existing PIT systems deployed in the Klamath Basin. In addition to Biomark PIT gear being utilized throughout the entire Upper Klamath Basin, the Klamath Watershed District and the Klamath Anadromous Reintroduction Program currently has and uses Biomark readers and other equipment as part of the monitoring program so whatever we purchase needs to be completely compatible with the current gear.
