The 502d Contracting Squadron intends to award a sole source Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for Reagents and Consumable items to Government Scientific Source (GSS), Inc. in accordance with FAR 8.405-3, and FAR 8.405-6.  The period of performance for this requirement is 1 October 2015 through 30 September 2020. The contractor shall furnish those reagents and consumable items required to operate the Bio-Plex 2200, Immunoassay System Analyzer. Bio-Rad Laboratories is the sole manufacturer, distributor and suplier in the US for all Bio-Rad Catalog numbers. This system will be operated by the government to detect Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella (MMRV) and the detection of Celiac disease.

Due to FDA licensing requirements, only GSS Inc. is authorized to provide reagents and consumable items to support the Bio-Plex 2200 Immunoassay System Analyzer located at Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) Lackland AFB Texas.The NAICS code for this acquisition is 621511 and the size standard is $32.5 million.

This sources sought notice is published for market research purposes only.  This notice is neither a request for quotes nor a solicitation for offers.  However, all responses received by 14 August 2015 at 2:00 PM CST will be reviewed and considered by the Government.  Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government.
