BioRad via Government Scientific Source, Inc., offers this unique instrument that supports the CDC's continued research studies most effectively. The x-Map® Technology on which this system is based can detect multiple analytes and can run 96 specimins at one time. The platform is based on flow cytometry which is a newer technology that is becoming more standard in the industry than the flourescent based platform. Our technique and data are validated using this platform, specific reagents and methods. No other substitution would be acceptable.

The Government will review any/all capabilities statements and pricing information submitted and determine if other qualified sources do exist that could provide this requirement. Information received in response to this announcement will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement for these services in the future.

If no affirmative responses are received within 5 days, negotiations will be conducted with the Governmment Scientific Source, Inc. as the only source and a contract will be issued without any additional notices being posted.
