TOWAMENCIN MUNICIPAL AUTHORITY MONTGOMERY COUNTY PENNSYLVANIA CONTRACT TMA 2019-02 Biosolids Beneficial Use and Hauling Notice is hereby given that online sealed proposals for the hauling and beneficial use, and/or hauling and landfill disposal of Lime-Stabilized Class B Biosolids from the Towamencin Municipal Authority (TMA) Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) will be received by TMA until 11:00 AM prevailing time on October 10, 2019 at which time they will be publicly opened and posted online. Bids will be received for the following items: Item 1.1: Lime-Stabilized Class B Biosolids – Beneficial Use with Hauling Estimated Annual Quantity Range: 4,800 Wet Tons/Year Item 1.2: Lime-Stabilized Class B Biosolids – Landfill Disposal with Hauling Estimated Annual Quantity Range: 48 Wet Tons/Year Item 1.3: Lime-Stabilized Class B Biosolids – Landfill Disposal: Hauling Only Estimated Annual Quantity Range: 48 Wet Tons/Year Bids will be received online via the PennBid Program. Bid specifications, a biosolids analytical profile, and proposal and contract forms are available at no cost at www.pennbid.net. A Bid Bond, certified check or cashier’s check drawn to the order of TMA in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid must be submitted as a copy with the proposal as Bid Security that will be returned after the award of the contract. Bids may not be withdrawn within Sixty (60) days after the time affixed for the opening. TMA reserves the right to reject any and all bids or any part thereof in the best interest of TMA, but any contract awarded will be to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder awarded as outlined in the Instructions to Bidders. A mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at 10:00 AM at the TMA WWTP for bidders to view the site and facilities prior to bidding.
