BLU-137/B Penetrator Warhead Production:
This notice serves as the solicitation for the BLU-137/B Penetrator Warhead Production. The Hard Target Munitions Branch (AFLCMC/EBDP), Direct Attack Division (AFLCMC/EBD), Armament Directorate (AFLCMC/EB), Eglin AFB, FL, plans to award a firm-fixed price multiple award Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract for the production of the BLU-137/B penetrator warhead. The manufacturing of the warhead case and all components shall be in accordance with the Government-owned and provided Technical Data Package (TDP). The TDP will only be provided to those contractors that are registered and active in the Joint Certification Program (JCP) through the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). The Request for Proposal (RFP) contains the instructions for requesting the TDP and all information that is required in the request.

This is an unrestricted procurement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 332993 with a size standard of 1,500 employees. The Government anticipates awarding two (2) contracts utilizing the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) source selection procedures; however the Government reserves the right to award only one (1) contract if two (2) contract awards are determined to not be in the best interest of the Government.

The Government will not provide a hard copy of the RFP. It must be downloaded from FedBizOpps. Any future information pertaining to this requirement will be posted on the FedBizOpps website. Interested parties should monitor the FedBizOpps website for changes or amendments to the solicitation.

NOTICE TO OFFEROR: Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs.
