The United States Air Force intends to negotiate sole source with Allen-Vanguard Technologies INC., 2400 St Laurent Blvd. Ottawa ON K1G6C4, CAN, for bomb suits. This purchase will be made under simplified acquisition procedure and Other than Full and open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The government intends to award a firm, fixed price contract for a one time purchase. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability. All inquiries received by the Government by 4:00PM mountain time, 21 July 2009, will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
