Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source

The Regional Health Contracting Office-Central, Joint Base San Antonio, Texas intends to award a Firm Fixed-Price sole source contract to National Marrow Donor Program, under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i)-Only One Source Reasonably available (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreement, brand name or industrial mobilization) for Brooke Army Medical Center, Joint Base San Antonio, TX, for a stem cell transplant patient. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 621991– Blood and Organ Banks. The Small Business Size Standard is $35 mil.

This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. Interested and capable sources who submit capabilities in support of this requirement are responsible for appropriately marking information if it is proprietary in nature. The Government shall not reimburse interested sources for any information provided.

Due to the urgency of need, this requirement will be sole sourced. Any capabilities received in response to this notice shall be considered for future requirements. No requests for capability briefings or telephonic inquiries will be honored.
