The USMMA seeks a qualified and experienced contractor to provide labor, material, transportation, tools, equipment and supervision to clean, remove and dispose/recycle lead and decontaminate all walls, ceilings, floors and appurtenances thereto, in all spaces of the Bowditch Hall Firearms Range Complex. In accordance with the scope of work removal and dispose and replace the ten metal cell sided (99.97%) custom HEPA filters from the exhaust system of the range above the bullet traps.
The Contractor will provide all parts, labor, equipment, appliances, materials and permits for the performance of cleaning and disposal operations. All work will comply with applicable Federal, state and local environmental laws and regulations. The work for this project includes removal and disposal/recycling of lead/lead dust located in the bullet trap area, the cleaning/decontamination of the entire Bowditch Hall Firearms Range Suite and the removal and replacement of damaged ceiling and column deflectors. All surfaces, materials and equipment, regardless of location in the Bowditch Hall Firearms Range Complex, shall be assumed to be lead contaminated. All waste shall be tested using a TCLP analysis to determine if it is hazardous or non-hazardous.
