SOURCES SOUGHT: THIS NOTICE IS MARKET RESEARCH TO SUPPORT INCLUSION OF SOLE SOURCE (BRAND NAME) SPECIFICATIONS IN A CONSTRUCTION PROJECT – JBE088, JOINT INTEGRATED TEST AND TRAINING CENTER (JITTC), JBER, ALASKA - AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL.

The U.S. Army Engineer District, Alaska intends to specify the below listed items as part of a larger construction contract to be executed on JBER, Alaska. A determination by the Government to not compete this requirement, for the specific items listed below, based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Reference FAR 6.302-1(c), “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements - Application for brand name descriptions.”

Items:

1. Automated Logic Controls (ALC). Automated Logic Controls be used for the building controls of the JITTC facility. The building controls will be integrated to the existing base wide utility monitoring and control system (UMCS) head end. JBER requires all new individual building controls systems be connected to and fully functional with the existing base-wide automated logic building control and monitoring system. The sole custodian of the base wide automated logic building automation system is Meridian Systems, Inc.

THIS NOTICE IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE AND NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. No solicitation will be available as these sole source items will be incorporated into the specifications of a FY25 solicitation for a new Military Construction (MILCON) project on JBER, Alaska. Vendors who offer the above items which can meet all of teh above functional criteria are invited to respond to this notice. Responses must include the following information:

1. Identification of the manufacturer’s name, address, and country of product manufacture.

2. Fully detailed specification sheets.

3. Narrative addressing how your product meets the salient features listed above.
