The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Headquarters (HQ), Patuxent River intends to award a Sole Source Contract Modification to The Boeing Company, for C-40A Contractor Logistic Support (CLS). This acquisition is a bridge effort under contract N00019-10-D-0017 for continued contract support until the follow-on contract can be competitively awarded. A request for proposals for the follow-on competition was issued on 16 April 2015. The purpose of the instant sole source bridge acquisition is to provide up to 12 months of continued C-40A CLS support for the Navy Unique Fleet Essential Aircraft Program. The period of performance for this effort will be 1 August 2015 through 31 July 2016. The primary places of performance are NAS Oceana, VA; NAS North Island, CA; NAS Jacksonville, FL; NAS JRB, Fort Worth, TX and NAS Whidbey Island, WA.

THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, responsible interested parties may submit a capability statement in which they identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. The Government will consider all information received by 10 June 2015, 1200 EST. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
