REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) for Software and Service for Analyzing and Recording Track Related Defects. WMATA is in the procurement development phase of technological services needed to continue to use Optram software for analyzing and recording track related defects. WMATA also seeks to learn about similar products to Optram which have the capability of storing, analyzing, and displaying track defects in an interactive form over a map representation of the different track segments within the WMATA system. Such products shall also have the capability of interacting with other WMATA softwares such as Maxtrax and Maximo. WMATA relies upon MaxTrax Mobile to provide near real-time data from the field and the auto-generation of metrics, analytics, reports and text notifications. Maxtrax is a proprietary software and is currently used for many purposes including track inspection efforts and compliance. MaxTrax mobile allows inspectors to view and input defects, which are reflected in a desktop dashboard for supervisors, maintenance managers, and engineers.
