Metro seeks to purchase Sierra Wireless MG90 Wireless Router Upgrade Kits for the Metro Transit Bus Fleet. All parts needed for project are listed in the bill of materials and must be kitted by the vendor. Procuring these kits will allow buses to have Passenger WI-FI capabilities, GPS location, and the option to implement real time fare collection. It will also provide a more reliable and stable broadband connection for Metro Bus on-board networks. And with the shutdown of ATT¿s 3G networks, it is imperative we move to this newer system to help maintain our bus on-board systems.
