Synopsis:

The AFTC Installation Contracting Division/PZIOAB, Eglin AFB FL, intends to award a sole source firm-fixed price contract for Bruker Vertex 70 Fourier Transform Infared (FTIR) Spectrometer System to Bruker Optics, Inc. under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Anticipated award date is 21 Apr 14. This requirement is for: 

CLIN 0001:  Hardware. BRUKER VERTEX FOURIER TRANSFORM INFARED SPECTROMETER (FTIR) SYSTEM. SYSTEM TO INCLUDE V70 FOURIER TRANSFORM INFARED SPECTROMETER, QTY:1; DETECTORS 0316/BP, QTY:2; EMISSION PORT W121/Z-EP, QTY:1;WINDOW F 162-5, QTY: 1; OPUS SPECTROSCOPY SOFTWARE, QTY:1; DATA SYSTEMS CSS 1/25+, QTY:1

These items must be delivered to: 96 TW LMCA, EGLIN AFB, FL 32542 on an FOB Destination basis.  The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 334516 small business size standard: 500 employees. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals/quotes, however all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The government may consider all responses received within 15 days of publication. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
