This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE to determine the capability of potential 8(a) Certified or 8(a) Joint Venture sources that can perform NAICS 722310 Food Service Contractors, Small Business Size $35.5. This notice is issued by the Coast Guard, Shore Infrastructure Logistics Center, Alameda, California to identify 8(a) Certified sources capable of providing full food services anticipated to be seven (7) days per week, three (3) times per day for approximately 68K meals annually for the Base Support Unit Kodiak, Alaska.

Solicitation is anticipated for one base year plus four option years, if exercised by the Government, beginning 1 October 2011. The Government is anticipated to provide the facility, which is OSHA compliant. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and supervision necessary to perform these services. At this time, no solicitation exists: therefore, DO NOT REQUEST A COPY OF THE SOLICITATION.

Vendors having the skills and capabilities necessary to perform stated requirement are invited to provide information to contribute to this market survey/sources sought including, commercial market information and company information with 8(a) Small Disadvantage Business certification Entrance and Exit Dates via e-mail to the Contract Specialist at [email protected] or facsimile (510) 437-3014, no later than 24 May 2011.

Past performance information shall include recent and relevant contracts for the small or similar items and other references (including contract numbers, points of contacts with telephone number and other relevant information). Offerors shall furnish this information for contracts, ongoing or completed within the last three years, for like or similar services held with the U.S. Coast Guard, other Government agencies or private industries. Responses should also include the following information: company name, address, point of contact, phone number and e-mail address.

NOTE: A Small Business size standard is the largest that a concern can be and still qualify as a small business for Federal Government programs.
