Solicitation N00421-12-T-0436 is issued as a synopsis/solicitation. The
Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis and to solicit and
negotiate the proposed purchase order on a brand name basis under the
authority of FAR 52.211-6 Manufacturer must be brand name or equal to Tyco
Electronics, under the authority of FAR Part 12, FAR Part 13. Offerors must be registered
in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to submission of
an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract. This may be

Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to
this requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is a request for
competitive proposals, all proposals received by 09August2012 will be
considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete
this proposed contract based upon the responses to this notice is solely
within the discretion of the government. The Government will not pay for any
