NAVSUP intends to acquire PN:9683-24A (50ea) PN:9683-13A (50ea) directly from a sole source contractor which is not the actual manufacturer.  The only approved source of supply on file for this item is HARDIGG INDUSTRIES, INC(11214).  No other sources have expressed an interest in manufacturing the subject item to the Source Development Department. Additional sources must obtain engineering source approval prior to contract award. NAVSUP WSS will continue to encourage manufacturers with the expertise to manufacture the subject item to submit a complete technical data package for review and source approval by the appropriate engineering source approval authority.  This item is a highly specialized part designed and manufactured by a non government activity and the technical data required for the manufacture of this item is not available
