Provide Architectural and Engineering services to correct FCA (Facilities Conditions Assessment) deficiencies at the VA Western New York Healthcare System, Batavia, NY. Work includes, but is not limited to, improvements to the electrical distribution system such that National Electrical Code deficiencies are abated, improvements to the HVAC systems on Ward A and B for appropriate ventilation, heating and air conditioning, and renovation of Ward A for thirty (30) beds for Dementia Care patients, which includes, demolition, asbestos removal, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, fire protection, plumbing, voice/data systems, and twelve (12) beds with medical gasses. NOTE: This acquisition is limited to firms located within a 45 mile radius of the Batavia facility. Otherwise, this acquisition is unrestricted, meaning any firm can apply, regardless of business size. NAICS Code 541310 (Building architectural design services) applies. A firm fixed price contract is anticipated to be awarded. Responses are to be received by the Contracting Officer no later than 3:00pm on 08/08/03. This is not a request for proposal.
