The Program Manager Advanced Amphibious Assault (PM AAA) has a requirement to assess the replacement of obsolete components in the Hull Electronics Unit (HEU) used on the Expeditionary Fighting Vehicle (EFV). Curtiss-Wright is the single-source supplier of the HEU for the EFV. The Marine Corps Systems Command intends to contract on a sole source basis with Curtiss-Wright to supply one (1) Brassboard, air-cooled VPX HEU for assessment of obsolete component replacement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The Contractor will provide all required materials, services, personnel and facilities to design, fabricate, and manufacture the HEU required for this assessment. The HEU contract is expected to be awarded in FY11. This notice represents the only official notice of this solicitation and is not a request for proposals.
