This is a Master Agreement in which the Contractor shall provide American Sign Language (ASL) Video Remote Interpreting (VRI) services for the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) institutions and facilities statewide. The contractor will assist CDCR with remote interpretation services for inmates/parolees who are speech/hearing impaired or deaf, on an as-needed basis. Interpreters assigned by the Contractor to provide ASL VRI services must be qualified or certified in interpreting from spoken English to ASL (interpretation) and from ASL to spoken English (translation).
