This is a market survey for Cafeteria Operations at the FAA Palmdale Air Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC) Palmdale, CA for food services contractors. The responses to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only. This is not a screening information request or request for proposal of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting proposals at this time. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey. Therefore any cost associated with the market survey submission is solely at the interested vendor’s expense. This agreement includes cafeteria and automated vending operations at Los Angeles Air Route Traffic Control Center with a waiver in support of the Randolph-Sheppard Vending Facility Program. At this time the nature of the competition has not been determined. The FAA may decide to do a full and open competition or set aside all or part of the procurement for small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses or eligible socially and economically disadvantaged businesses that are certified by the SBA for participation in the SBA's 8(a) Program. The purpose of this market survey is to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from all business sources, (food services contractors) capable of providing all labor, supplies, materials, equipment (except identified as Government-supplied in Equipment Listing) to operate a full-service cafeteria at the Federal Aviation Administration’s Air Route Traffic Control Center located in Palmdale, CA The NAICS Code for this requirement is 722310, for Cafeteria Operations at the FAA Palmdale ARTCC. In order to make this determination the FAA requires the below information from interested vendors. This market survey is also being conducted in order to obtain the information necessary to determine whether adequate competition exists to set-aside the competition among small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses or 8(a) certified firms. Once a determination is made, the Scope of Work and solicitation will go to interested vendors. The solicitation will be distributed on or about May 1, 2015. Interested firms are required to submit the following: 1. Capability Statement indicating: • Type of services provided by your firm, • Size and type of services provided by previous contracts (elaborate and provide detailed information and past performance), • Number of years in business 2.
