This is a NOTICE OF INTENT for the procurement of Calibration Standards (CALSTDs) and ancillary equipment for Aviation Fleet Intermediate Calibration Activities, Fleet Training Activities and Aviation Navy Calibration Laboratories (NCLs) to support Aviation Organizational and Intermediate level maintenance assets.
The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price contract, on a sole source basis, to Morehouse Instruments 1742 Sixth Avenue, York PA 17403-2675, for this procurement. The statutory authority permitting other than Full and Open Competition is USC 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The procedures of FAR Part 12 and 13.5 will be utilized for this commercial acquisition.
