Who: Seeking sculptors, illustrators, painters, mosaic artists, and creatives in other media to apply to join the public art program at Orchard Lane Park. Have a different idea? Share it with us! Selected artists will be compensated for their time/materials. What: The theme for the art program is a broad approach to a timeline, transitioning from the past (ex: the formation of Earth & dinosaurs) on the outer edges of the site to the future (ex: space travel & life on other planets) in the center of the site. How will your art piece contribute to this theme? When: Artist Applications are due October 1, 2021. Selected artists will be contacted by the end of October. Artwork proposals are due one month after artist selection notification for review and approval by City Council. The project estimated completion date is Summer 2022.
