Sealed bids will be received until 2:00 PM Prevailing Central Time, June 20, 2024, and then publicly opened and read at Cameron City Hall, 205 North Main St., Cameron, MO 64429 for furnishing all labor, materials and equipment and performing all work necessary for Reconstruct Runway 17-35. This project includes a concrete runway reconstruction and airfield lighting improvements. **Location change - the bid opening will be held at the Public Safety Building, 101 West Second Street** A complete set of bid documents in PDF format may be downloaded free of charge by sending an e-mail request to [email protected] with company contact information to be used for the plan holder list. A link to download the files will then be provided. A non-mandatory pre-bid virtual conference for this project will be held at 10:00 AM Prevailing local time on June 13, 2024. The call-in number is (224) 419-4630 with conference ID 373 491 738#. A Teams link will also be provided. Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid guaranty in the amount of five (5) percent of the total amount of the bid. The bid guaranty may be by certified check or bid bond made payable to City of Cameron, MO. Bids may be held by the City of Cameron, MO for a period not to exceed 120 calendar days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of evaluating bids prior to award of contract. The right is reserved, as the City of Cameron, MO may require, to reject any bid and also the right to reject all bids. In accordance with the Davis-Bacon Act, and the Missouri Prevailing Wage Law, the Contractor will be required to comply with the wage and labor requirements and to pay minimum wages in accordance with the schedule of wage rates established by the United States Department of Labor and the Missouri Division of Labor Standards, respectively. The highest rate between the two (Federal and State) for each job classification shall be considered the prevailing wage. Award of contract is subject to the following Federal provisions: 49 CFR Part 26 Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Participation Executive Order 11246 and DOL Regulation 41 CFR Part 60 - Affirmative Action to Ensure Equal Employment Opportunity.
