The purpose of this Synopsis, in accordance with FAR 5.201, is to announce that DLA Land at Aberdeen anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) on or about 15 March 2018, for NSN 1080-01-573-6419, Camouflage Net System, Radar.  The estimated quantity to be purchased in this acquisition is 2192 each. The part number is 13023968-1 and NAICS code is 314999.

 Market research suggests that Saab Barracuda (CAGE 1X5J9) is the only source capable of providing the NSN. This procurement will be using FAR 15 (Contracting by Negotiation). The Government does not own the technical data package (TDP).  This acquisition will not be set-aside for small business.

 This proposed contract type is a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) one-time purchase, with no options.

 Delivery is to the DLA Distribution Facility in New Cumberland, PA (W25G1U).
