1. Introduction/Purpose
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) William J. Hughes Technical Center located in Atlantic City International Airport, Atlantic City, NJ has a requirement for a Canon EOS C100 Cinema Camera and accessories.
2. Nature of Competition
The acquisition strategy for the procurement has not been determined at this time.
The results of this market survey will be used as a determining factor in deciding on the level of competition.
Please note: Based on the FAAââ¬â¢s AMS policy at 3.2.1.2.3, the use of agency wide contracts must be used to the maximum extent possible and the responses to this announcement will be used as a determining factor regarding whether the use of an existing agency contract vehicle is appropriate.
3. Standard Language
Interested companies are reminded that ââ¬â
(a) This is not a Screening Information Request (SIR) or Request for Proposals of any kind;
(b) The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals;
(c) The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey; and
(d) Any costs associated with the market survey submittal are solely at the interested vendorââ¬â¢s expense.
4. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code
The projected NAICS code for this requirement is 423410 (Photographic Equipment and Supplies Merchant Wholesalers) with an applicable size standard of 200 employees.
5. Submittal Requirements for Market Survey
Interested companies are required to submit the following:
(a) Capability Statement ââ¬â Submit a summary of your firmââ¬â¢s capability in meeting the FAA's requirement as specified in the attached Specifications document.
(b) Business Declaration ââ¬â Submit a completed copy of the attached Business Declaration form, along with a copy of the appropriate Small Business Administration (SBA) certification where applicable.
