The Request for Quote number is PR-0008356 and is being conducted as a 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 423490 - Other Professional Equipment and Supplies Merchant Wholesalers; the size standard is 500 employees. The resultant contract will be a firm-fixed price contract. This RFQ incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-72. This requirement will be awarded on an all or none basis as a commercial item, fixed price purchase order under the procedures at FAR Parts 12 and 13.
The FBI is responsible for providing field and forensic investigative work in environments potentially contaminated by hazardous materials including chemical or biological agents, nuclear materials and toxic industrial chemicals. The FBI current owns the Captair Field Pyramid which is used to process suspicious letters and packages in situations where the local fire department or first responder community cannot conduct field screening. The Captair Field Pyramid air tight certification is critical for the safety of the technicians and FBI partner laboratories.
The FBI requires the following items to the following:
Line 0001, Captair Field Pyramid comprised of 250micron PVC and butyl gloves, 145, EA.
Technical Requirements/Specifications:
• Must be Model 2200A;
• Must have External Port;
• Must be comprised of 250micron PVC;
• Butyl gloves;
• QC testing certificate - 0.05PSI and random lot testing to 29PSI;
• Size specification - each measuring 30"L x 22"W x 28 ½"H.
FOB Destination: FBI Operational Response Center (ORC), 1000 Falls Run Drive, Fredericksburg, VA 22406. The contractor shall extend to the Government full coverage under a normal commercial warranty. Acceptance of the warranty does not waive the Governments rights with regard to the other terms and conditions of this contract. The warranty period shall begin upon final acceptance of all items provided to the government by the Contractor. Offerors are hereby notified that if their quotes are not received by the date, time and location specified in this announcement, it will not be considered by the agency.
