For clarification purposes the below is provided regarding pricing of the requirement.
Pricing may be provided for carbon monoxide detectors and associated parts only or vendors may price both the detectors and installation/integration. Regardless, the carbon monoxide detector priced, must be compitable with and meet all security requirements necessary to be installed on and integrated with the existing system. Vendors are required to provide information to the government which shows the carbon monoxide detector quoted is dual power supplied and certified to operate on the existing system.
As stated in the original posting, due to funding constraints, purchase of the detectors and installation/integration at all 44 locations may not be feasible prior to September 30, 2017. Therefore, product and installation/integration must be priced separately. Based on pricing received and available funding, the government will determine whether to make an award for detectors and associated parts only, detectors and installation at all 44 locations or a limited number of locations.
