AMENDMENT II: This amendment is to extend the response date to 8 July 2019 by 10 AM Eastern Time.
AMENDMENT I:
This amendment is for clarification reasons only. On page six (6) of the solicitation package under "Requirements" the following statement can be found, "Preventative Maintenance on sixteen 17-inch Vertical Carousel units". This amendment effectively corrects that to be "Preventative Maintenance on sixteen 17-foot Vertical Carousel units"
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation (“synopsitation” hereafter), which is expected to result in award of a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract for commercial services, i.e., Vertical Carousel Preventative Maintenance as described under the attachment titled “Performance Work Statement”. The synopsitation is prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is conducted as a commercial item procurement using Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR Part 13). An award, if any, will be made to the responsible offeror who submits a proposal that (1) conforms to the requirements of the synopsitation; (2) that receives a rating of “Acceptable” on the Technical Capability evaluation factor; and (3) that submits the proposal with the lowest total evaluated price (TEP), provided that the TEP is not unbalanced and is determined to be fair and reasonable. The Government reserves the right to award without discussions or make no award at all depending upon (1) the quality of proposals received and (2) whether proposed prices are determined to be fair and reasonable.
Please note a general statement that a proposal will conform to the minimum requirements in the Statement of Work will receive a rating of not technically acceptable; proposals must demonstrate how minimum requirements in the statement of work will be met, including a cost breakdown of each requirement.
There will be no contract financing available. Full payment will be made after delivery and acceptance of the contracted item(s).
