SCOPE OF WORK CGC HOLLYHOCK CARPET RENEWAL

1.1 REFERENCES:
• CG SFLC Standard Spec 6341

1.2 DESCRIPTION OF WORK TO BE COMPLETED:
• Remove and Dispose of carpet and molding.
• Replace carpet and molding.
• New Carpet must be 100% wool, and meet standard spec 6341 dyed to meet ships specifications.

 


2.1 SITE VISIT:
Site visit is required. Contractor is to contact CWO Christopher Timm to arrange site visit.

3.1 Proposals:
Proposals shall be submitted using Contractor letterhead emailed to SK1 Joseph Easton at [email protected]

4.1 Payment:
Progressive payment authorized. 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer-System for Award Management.

5.1 MILITARY REGULATION:
The contractor, his employees and sub contractors shall become familiar with and obey all station regulations.

5.2 All personnel employed on the project shall keep within the limits of the work and avenues of the ingress and egress, and shall not enter any other areas outside the site of work unless required to do so in the performance of their duties and have obtained verbal permission from CWO Christopher Timm, or assigned representative from the unit.

5.3The contractor's equipment shall be conspicuously marked for identification.

5.4There shall be no smoking except in designated areas.

6.1 WORK SCHEDULE:
Work to begin January 2015. The contractor shall perform all site work during the normal operation hours, 0700-1600 Mon-Fri, except during federal holidays. Contractor must be willing to work around the ships underway and inport schedule, as some work may get done during different inport period due to U.S. Coast Guard operations.

6.2 Any deviations from normal working hours will be discussed with CWO Christopher Timm and agreed upon by all parties concerned.

 

7.1 CLEAN UP OF WORK AREA:
The contractor shall remove and properly dispose of all trash and debris pertaining to the contract work from the limits of government property, as well as adjacent affected areas.

7.2 Disposal of HAZ MAT shall be in accordance with Federal, State and local regulations

7.3ACCEPTANCE OF WORK:
Prior to the acceptance of work by the Coast Guard, the contractor shall arrange, through CWO Christopher Timm, a review of work completed to ensure all items have been inspected to indentify necessary inspection certificates, tags, and to ensure work satisfaction as well as proper clean up.
