The Commodity Futures trading Commission (CFTC) currently owns 182 CaseMap Suite (CaseMap, TimeMap, TextMap, NoteMap and DocPreviewer) licenses. The CaseMap Suite provides functionality that supports matter knowledge organization and evidence analysis, and is used primarily by the CFTC Division of Enforcement. CFTC intends to modify Contract MO-0440015 with LexisNexis, 1150 18th Street, Ste 600, NW, Washington, DC 20036, to acquire 318 additional licenses, and to add option years for extended maintenance for all licenses through July 31, 2015. This is proprietary software and LexisNexis is the only known source for licenses and maintenance services. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. However, the Government will consider responses from all responsible sources received by the date identified above. Written responses must include sufficient information to establish capability to fulfill the requirement. Any responses received will only be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in lieu of the source sole contract described in this notice, and such determination shall be made at the sole discretion of CFTC.
