THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE SYNOPSIS! The 45th Contracting Squadron has a sole source requirement for Catholic Priest support to the Catholic worship community at Patrick AFB, FL. The period of performance of this requirement will be a base+4 with one 6-MO option to extend services. This is a Sole Source for Catholic Priest Support Services in accordance with (IAW) FAR13.106-1(b)(1). As required IAW FAR 5.207(c)(15) Holy Cross Fathers is the only source capable of fulfilling the government’s requirement where Contractor shall provide written documentation to the Wing Chaplain stating that personnel have the approval of the appropriate Diocesan Bishop or religious superior to provide services as a priest as well as provide written documentation of at least being in the process of obtaining ecclesiastical endorsement from the Archdiocese for the Military Services (AMS), USA (http://www.milarch.org/). Contractor personnel shall adhere to the policies defined in the “Minimum Requirements for the Pastoral Care of Catholic Personnel” as published by AMS dated 20 August 2008. These specifications are a unique requirement to support the 45 SW Religious Community. The attached Sole Source Justification has been made available for review. No solicitation documents exist at this time. This service utilizes North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 813110.

As required IAW FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii) all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, the government will consider any responses from capable sources received within 10 days after date of publication of this synopsis. 45 CONS/PKB has determined that Holy Cross Fathers is the only source capable of providing this requirement.
