The National Library of Medicine (NLM) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) proposes to procure from Comcast of Potomac LLC, 20 West Gude Drive, Rockville, Maryland 20850-1150.

The requirement consists of the acquisition of CATV monthly service for the Clinical Center, Building 10, the Family lodge and associates facilities of the National Institutes of Health campus. The Period of Performance for this agreement is 12 months with an option for an additional 12 months... This acquisition is less than the Simplified threshold. This support will be performed under the existing agreement.

Comcast of Potomac LLC is the only party known to NIH that can meet the above requirements for the existing network/system. A Sole Source is warranted to maintain the continuity of the environment, avoid service disruptions, and provide the best value to the government.

This is not a solicitation for competitive proposals. However, if any other interested party believes that it can meet the requirements it may submit a statement of capabilities.

The capability statement and any other information furnished must be in writing, and must contain material in sufficient detail to allow NIH to determine if the party can meet all of the foregoing requirements. Offers must also be accompanied by descriptive literature, warranties, and/or other information that demonstrates that the offer meets all of the foregoing requirements.

Capability statements and related materials must be received in this office by 1:00 p.m.EST on the closing date of this announcement.
