REQUIREMENT TITLE: CDDAR Recovery Kit NSN/Part Number: PN 9314-010 and PN 9315-010 and PN 9316-010 Solicitation Number: FA820119R9999 Notice Type: Sources Sought Synopsis 1. NOTICE: This is not a solicitation but rather a Sources Sought Synopsis to determine potential sources for information and planning purposes only. 1.1 The purpose of this Sources Sought is to conduct market research to determine if responsible sources exist, to assist in determining if this effort can be competitive and/or a total Small Business Set-Aside. The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 336413 which has a corresponding Size standard of 1250 employees. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. The Government is interested in all small businesses to include 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, HUBZone, and Women-Owned small business concerns. The government requests that interested parties respond to this notice if applicable and identify your small business status to the identified NAICS code. Additionally, please provide any anticipated teaming arrangements, along with a description of similar services offered to the Government and to commercial customers for the past three years. Any responses involving teaming agreements should delineate between the work that will be accomplished by the prime and the work accomplished by the teaming partners. 2. Program Details: The purpose of this Sources Sought is to verify that no other contractor is able to provide the CDDAR Recovery Kit requested by the 388th FW. Hill AFB is intending to negotiate and award a sole source contract to AGE Logistics for their Recovery Kit to be utilized in conjunction with the F-35 aircraft. The 388th FW is in need of one (with the option of purchasing an additional kit) complete kit for their squadron. These recovery kits include: 15-ton pneumatic lifting bag, control console for lifting bags, 50MT capacity de-bogging kit, 2Mx1M Roadway Panels, and radio link plus digital Dynamometer 110,000 LB Capacity / 10 LB resolution. AGE Logistics has been the sole provider to the US Air Force of 15-ton and 26-ton pneumatic lifting bags (PN 9314-010 and PN 9315-010) for over 25 years. They air supply consoles (PN 9316-010) are also manufactured by the company to work with the lifting bags. To the best of our knowledge, and through other forms of market research, we have concluded that AGE Logistics is the sole source provider of the lifting bags and consoles. Although the other items that complete the kit are not manufactured by AGE Logistics, it is our intention to purchase the complete kit from the sole provider of the other two pieces. If there is any person or company who feels as though they can provide what is required, please provide a capabilities statement, along with a quote for ALL of the products described. Please send that information to: [email protected] NLT 10 SEP 2019
